Mouseover text thread preview

Some forums i frequent have this feature. When you mouse over the thread title it shows the first the first line or two of the threads OP. Ever click on a thread and when it opens you want to ask for the last 30 seconds of your life back? This kind of thing helps you avoid that.

i hate everything that appears when you mouse over it. It makes things slower, is annoying, and in the end does nothing but save you 2 clicks, and 5 seconds.

Unnecessary in my eyes.

threads with mouseover review? fucking hate it.

xda developers (phone forum) has it and it is really fucking annoying.

If done properly this could be awesome. I frequent several other forums that have this and its nice. Saves me the time of clicking on pointless threads.

Though come to think of it, lately on ns the simplest way to do that would be to just click nothing.

Ive been around xda for years and i love it. Not everyone is great at making thread titles, mouseover text on the thread showing the first so many charecters of the op saves alot of time and helps avoid that wtf second when you open some of these worthless threads, just mouseover it, realize its bs, move on and let it die.

Someone said it would slow things down, i guess you must still be on ie6 or something.
