Mouseover of last post

This was touched on before about mouseover description of the op. But what if you put your mouse over the "Last reply" or "Thread subject" and had the first 2 or 3 lines of the Last Reply shown?

It would minimize constantly openeing the thread and then scrolling all over the place to find the last post, eliminating a lot of navigation imo. On average most replies are a few lines anyway and in NSG the're usually like 2 or 3 words.

Just throwin it out there. I'm a raging newbosaurus here so so bear with me. idk, the coding would probably be a nightmare. Btw the thread preview is a great editon!!!
 
Show the last reply to a thread without actually opening the thread.

what do you guys think? fail?

 
Sometimes I wish NS was on vBulletin like TGR and a lot of other forums. Some of the things that happen on that style are great.
 
Really? I've always thought its style was overly large and awkward. vBulletin has some nice forum features, but I prefer the tighter layout of NS.
