Mounting Your Fujatives.

I've seen a ton of confusion when reading up on where to mount your fujatives: either dead center, or the marked "core center" on the scale. and just to clear things up before i mounted mine i emailed k2:

"The Fujatives should NOT be mounted forward of the core center mark. The fiberglass screw retention plate does not extend far enough forward to mount them at dead center. The screws would be very likely to pull out of the skis on the first good hit. They are not designed for ski center mounts. THANKS! "

In conclusion, dont mount dead center, it screws up your flex patters, the way the edges are meant to be carved, and is weaker for your mounting. Thought I'd pass is along

I mounted mine core center, and they are fine. If I wanted to get a center mounted ski I'd get a symmetrical ski....how fucking hard is that.....hmm that would eliminate like 234234 threads around here.

There's nothing wrong with mounting K2s at true centre. My Silencers are half a centimetre back of true and they're fine. Armadas don't even have a mounting plate and how often do those rip out?
