Mounting skis twice at the same spot with different bindings

Hey guys so I'm currently out of money for new bindings on my new skis, but I have a shitty pair from my old skis. Is it possible to mount my shit bindings center for a while till I get my new bindings and mount the different bindings in the same spot? I know you can mount a ski about 2-3 times but not sure about in the same spot

It really depends on how the holes are when you pull the old bindings out. Sometimes you can do it, sometimes you can't. If you are doing it yourself, you'll want to slowly hand tighten them and don't use a drill. If they are going in with resistance and locking up, you should be fine. If they are spinning and not biting, you will have to remount them or use heli-coils.

You couldn't unless the mount pattern was the same, and even then it would be more likely to pull out because the holes will be a bit wider from unscrewing/rescrewing
