Mounting Scratch FS 06

Hey there,

im gonna be mounting my new skis this weekend, and planned to put 2cm in front of the modern point!

anyone already done this?

any comments about mounting further forward...i.e. true center

90% park this year.....as we dont have mountains in the UK! just indoor snow slopes!

any comments appreciated

I mounted them about 6 cm forward, and love it.

I first demo-ed them on normal point and didn't like it, but now it is my favorite ski ever.

I mounted them 1 cm back from true center.
 
I have mine mounted true center and love it for parks. It takes away from the all mountain skiing though.
 
I have one pair mounted ture center and its great for the park. Then i have another pair mounted 2 1/2 cm back from ture cetner for pipe, and another pair at moddern for bumps and stuff. I think that my ture center one is my fav though for the fs's
 
I have the BCs, and they are mounted +1 cm from modern. Its a pretty good point for all mountain and a little park.
 
how do you like those in the park? i have my bc's mounted up modern, and just use them for pow... and i love em! I'd think that they would be kinda heavy for the park.
 
I have my '06 Scratch mounted 2 back from true center which is I believe +5 from modern. I love em. I have taken them all over the mountain and they do pretty well cause of the 181 length and I am only 5'9". I wouldn't mount mine any farther forward if I did again becaue as it is they seem like they have a lot of tail, as much as anyone would ever need.
 
well, last year i was using 186 Pollards in the park, and these are 182, so they are actually a bit shorter. I like them, I'm 6' 2", so its not like they are big for me.
 
lol, yeah i have 3 pairs of last years the like marron and blue ones... its odd though like one set has all blue bottoms with black. Then another set has one blue, and one all black with blue, then the other is all blue... its strange, how I have different ones.

anyone know why? I've always wondered

Long story short I got a ton of them last year. I only had to buy 1 pair also, they were 200 even!

1 technia boot (i don't know the name of it... its the red one from this year)

1 north face puffy fur

1 black bonfire, with pants

1 white analog, with the pants

2 sessions with pants

1 siver white with pants

1 marker red with pants

I've got like 4 other coats but i never wear them.
 
It is cool you have 3 pairs, but we are talking about the '06 in this thread, not the '05. So, it would be nice if people could read the thread title before filling the threads with irrelevant shit. The '06 is a totally different ski than the '05 and there is limited experience with them since it is so early in the year. This guy wants to know how to mount his '06 so keep your old school scratch shit out of this so you don't confuse him.
 
Sooo does someone want to give me a solid answer as to where to mount - I ride 60% park, and 40% all mt. I was thinking +2cm from modern.... I have the FS '06, with the crime scene on them.
