Mounting Question: Silencer/FKS

So I got some 179 Silencers, and I have some FKS binders to put on them. I would like some input on mounting position from people who have actually ridden Silencers before.

I will be instructing, fooling around in the park, and slaying the rest of the mountain. These will probably only see hard snow if that matters. I was thinking that since they are 179 I could mount them core center (which is actually about -1 from what I can tell). But if you have some suggestions, feel free to help me out. +K for helpful help.

Thanks.

i mounted mine 2 back from center and they ride awesome! dont mount them center because they get super chattery

-1 or -2 for sure.

my friend had his center mounted and i tried them just on groomers. they start to vibrate when you carve hardpack. suckss

Yeah I would def agree with the -2 to -3 mount. I had a pair of silencers that were mounted -5 first then -2.5. they ripped all mountain at -5 like a way more expensive ski, and I was honeslty surprised how little difference there was going to -2.5. I retired them when I got a set of PE's, but just for kicks I mounted them at true center when I got another set of boots.... just like everyone else said they they chattered like crazy (higher speed, all mountain skiing).

i had them -2,5cm and when i began to hit the park i moved them to the center, but on groomers and to teach others, better -2,5
