Mounting position... again...

Yo, let me preface this by saying I’ve only been skiing a few years and I have no idea what I’m talking about.

ive currently got a set of black crow camox free birds that are mounted forward of recommended.

Idk how far, but I’ll include a picture.

Does it look like these are mounted forward enough to effect the performance?

I feel like the tails slide out pretty easily compared to my other skis.

do y’all think it’s worth a re-mount(

Moving your mount 1cm does nothing, you're just getting used to new skis, give it some time.

Not gonna matter. Are these remounts? This often happens when you remount bindings due to limitations on where you can drill but still the change is not noticeable. Is the rec mount point on these -9? If so then be happy they mounted forwards rather than backwards. I've always had shops ask me this question if they couldn't drill directly on but either way that's what I'd do in that scenario.

Edit: the other question is how accurate is that arrow on the sidewall? Any chance the shop actually measured to get you an accurate mount? I know some brands are notoriously inaccurate for their sidewall stamps.

i take it that card is lined up with your boot's midway point, showing that they're only a cm or two up from rec? definitely not an issue, definitely not a reason to remount. you're just getting used to them (or you've found skis you hate). "fixing" this is definitely not your answer though. just ski em more

Also no telling if the line on the boots is in the center.

Recommended mount looks to be -6 on the 186 and slightly closer as you get into the smaller sizes.
