Mounting Pontoons?

Hello everyone!

I just got a pair 179 pontoons and im not sure where to mount them should i go with the recommened spot or has anyone else placed them somewhere else? I dont want them really far back on the ski.

well, youre not going to be doing any switch skiing on toons so why not recommended?
