Mounting Plate & Stripped Screw

Got 1 screw stopping me from getting the marker griffon mounting bracket off from an old pair.

Still some room to work on the screw head, before I did around, what other options (tool wise) do i have?

with only one screw you could probably slide a saw under the plate and cut it off. I had the same problem except with an 8 screw tele plate, we had to use a small dremel tool to cut a new screw pattern to cram a flathead screwdriver into all of them, it took ages.
