Mounting on JJs / Chetlers

Where do you guys mount your JJ's (or Chetlers since they're a similar ski). Does centermounting them defeat the purpose of a powder ski?

i have my bentchetlers mounted around for -3 but i wish i went center for my style of riding. im thinking of getting a pair of fks and remounting at center rather than my shitty griffons at -3 which move around in the toe a lot because i have full tilts..so pretty much right now theyre useless because they arent even safe to ride with the toe peice not matching up with ft's
...but yeah, if you get bentchetlers, go anywhere from -1.5 to center
 
So the consensus seems to be:
Bentchetlers = -1.5JJs = - 5 ?? Or do some people also mount around -1.5 on their JJs
If so, I like the more central mount of the Bents, seems like a more playful position.

definitely dont center mount JJs. you'll be ahead of the sidecut
i have schizos on my 185 JJs; and i find that theyre fun on groomers between -2.5 and -3.5, but for deep pow theyre more nimble at -4, -5
 
-4 on my 192 chetlers.

although, they have a weird ass marking system, so -4 ticks from dead center is only 2 cm back.
