Mounting Bindings

Where should I mount my bindings on my skis? I ski about 70% park and 30% just freesking. I was gonna put them in true center but I heard its tough freesking with them centered, and I like to just ski around sometimes so I was wondering where some of you would recommend me putting them.

not the question he asked...and don't beg for karma.

There are many different ideas on this, and it mostly comes down to personal preference. My personal view on it is, either go True (measured) Center or Core (balance point/Recommended) Center. Some people say "go -2.5" on some skis, but to me, it doesn't make sense, it's either all or nothing, basically the ski was designed to ski best at Core center, so if you're going to mount it anywhere other than core center, you might as well go all the way to true center. The loss of skiing ability for the ski isn't very much, and it's very easy to learn how to ski with a directional ski at center, usually it takes about 3 or 4 runs and then you'll be cruising around just like normal.

I'd say, if you really spend almost all of your time in the park, go true center.
