Mounting bindings... crap

So i had my local shop mount my ar5s, i told them 1 back from true center, in those exact words. I got them back and theyre 1 back from the line, so its actually like 4.5cm back from center. Its the second mount on the skis, so im wondering, should i get them remounted again and make sure its right this time or is it not worth the extra holes in the ski (and possibly more $ depending on my shop...)
 
They fucked up so they should get you new skis or some sort of monetary compensation. I would politely demand they get you new skis.
 
did you write those exact instructions on the slip? If so, it's the shops fault... well, actually, it's the shop's fault regardless since you verbally expressed what you wanted. Anyway, they should do it for free... you're fine up to three mountings... just make sure the previous holes are professionally plugged.
 
yeah they filled the wholes, and the guy filled the slip as i talked to him. This ski shop doesnt even sell armadas at all, so replacing them isnt going to work really. So a third mount on these skis wont fuck em up?
 
They can get them...ask to see a copy of the slip when you go in, and see what it says. If they fucked up, then they should have to get you some compensation, and they can get Armadas...trust me.

Demand new skis - think about it. If they remount them for you then you will never be able to sell them after they have been drilled 3 times unless the buyer has a very similar bootsole length to you
 
depends how close the holes are together but you can generally mount 3 times without fucking the skis
 
i think ill go down there and tell them whats up, and get them to remount at true center not 1cm back from that (just to be safe), and it better be for free. If it fucks up my skis, well then ill demand new ones.
 
after reading all these" the shop fucked up mounting my skis" threads, i have come to a conclusion, everyone who wants theyre skis mounted at a spot other than the mounting line should take a sharpy and measure out the line and draw it, or if you dont want to draw the whole line, just the ends of the lines so the shops wont fuck up
