Mounting ar6s

i just dropped my 176 ar6s off at my ski shop to get mounted n i wanted them true centered n they said the marking line is just a flex point mark so ther mounting them and 1 1/2 inches forward from the line would that be true

yea sounds about right mine are 2 cm back from true and its like inch and quarter or so in front of the core center line
