where should i mount them? i live on the east and ski up to a month out west where i get some snow
at home i ski 70% park 30% all mountain
out west i ski 40% park 60% all mountain
i am also 5'9 145lbs
I searchbarred and found nothing on the new blends but people said the best place on the old blends is around -2/-3. is that from core or true center?
thanks
Max B.

+2/3 from center is an awesome mounting spot for blends. i mounted mine (09/10) at rec spot since i don't use them for park but they still rock everywhere. tried my friend's mounted at +3 and it slayed. go for that spot, i'm 100% sure you'll love it.

line blends are kinda similar to chronics with the technology they use and such. i have the 08 chronics and recommended is -6. i mounted them at -2 and they are more than perfect. i would say -2 or -3 for a all around ski tht will still be super comfortable in the park

I've been wondering about this too. The +2/3 argument makes sense to me because after looking at the skis the other day the center of the sidecut looks like it's about 2 cm in front of the recommended mounting point on the ski. but for me, over the last two or three years, i've generally fallen in line with factory recommended mounting points and it's worked out well. it's where the ski, in theory, was designed to be skied and i figure ski companies, especially companies like line, put their recommended mounting points on skis for a reason. so at recommended or bumped forward 2? that's the question for me at least. hoping to keep reading feedback by people that have been on the skis.

i wouldnt mount at reccommened because these skis are designed for 40% all mountain, 40% powder, and 20% park, and you are doing a lot more than 20% park.

Yea i agree. i mount all my skis -2/3 so that the center of the boot is back 2 or 3 from the core center of the skis. its a good balance for park and all mountain and still feels good riding switch. and you have tip and tail rocker so you really dont need to worry about not being back enough to stay above the pow.

Mine are mounted on the recomended line, but I am a bit aprehensive as this seems very far back and I don't think I'll be used to it plus I'm not sure how well they will handle in the park. How unadvisable would redrilling this skis considering they are brand new?
