yeah preferably right in Capitol Hill.

i didnt think I needed to clarify, but I am of course looking for a condo at a ski resort in the denver area, not in metro or proper. sorry if that was confusing.

wisconsinnn people are dummmbbbbbbbbbbbbb :)

fuck you dude, I dont know why people have to be dicks, but whatever the reason is, you've got it bad. I get that there are no mountains in Denver proper (i.e. second post). I obviously know that Cap Hill and Cherry Hill are wards in Denver, not actual mountains.

As the title says, Im looking for a condo in the Denver area. Denver has ski hills around it, hence the word area. The title would be quite obnoxious if I said "Looking for a Condo in Breck, Stone, A Bay, Winter Park ect" An hour drive isnt exactly a deal breaker.

I do not live in Denver, and Im starting to be glad because it sounds like CO people are a bunch of rude assholes. What would be cool, is if someone who is familiar with the area could offer me a suggestion towards someplace I havent looked or thought of, or maybe suggest a smaller, more local hill, in the AREA, that I could check out.

Im just asking for a favor, I dont understand why you guys gotta be a bunch of pricks. Community forum my nutsack, you guys are jerks.

Itemized list of amazement:

1. I've never seen such a gigantic asshole call a bunch of people assholes.

2. Google Maps would show you the ski resorts are ~2 hours from the "Denver Area". Even West Denver is about 90 minutes at best.

3. No it's not obnoxious, perhaps you should look up what that word means. You're just trying to play off a completely MORONIC question. I wouldn't say moronic, originally I would have said ignorant. But since you insisted on how much you already knew, your questions are now moronic.

4. If you ask a question like a pretentious asshole, you can expect the same style of response.

5. Seriously, WTF. I have to reiterate how fucking stupid this thread is.

Yes, this was very confusing. You're second response showed you were embarrassed by your ignorance and your reaction was that of a child.

5 minutes on google would have shown you where areas are, distance, towns, residences, etc. Don't be mad when you post a question on a forum populated by actual people that could have been answered by an automated search engine.

1. I dont understand how Im being an asshole. I was looking for some tips from people with similar interests, and got shit on in return.

2. I dont know about what the transit system is in Colorado, but in Wisconsin, and the rest of America, we have cars. Since Im driving 14 hrs from WI, 2 extra isnt a big deal. Maybe I should have asked for information in west Central CO? When referencing the resorts such as Breck, Stone ect what is a proper label, fi not Denver area.

3. Is your meter broken? I understand that sarcasm is a difficult thing to express over the internet, but why would you think that I actually thought there were ski hills in Denver? Trevor is from WI, so am I....I just doing get why people cant either give me a hand, or be civil about it.

4. Refer to 1

5. Just take a breath. No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to read this. A lot of the threads on this site are solved with google, but if everyone googled everything, there would be no point to this community forum based site.

All Im looking for is someone nice enough to extend the olive branch, give me something that I might not obviously come across. Maybe someone has a connection. If a Colorado person came to Milwaukee, I would be thrilled to help them out.

Your problem is you asked for a ski in/ski out condo in the Denver area near Capitol Hill. Ignoring the ridiculousness of that question, ski resorts are 2 hours away from the Denver Area. Capitol Hill is where the capitol building is located in downtown Denver. There are ski in/ski out condos all over breck, keystone, vail, beaver creek, and every other ski area in Colorado. However, none of these are even close to the Denver area.

When you ask such a stupid question that could of been solved with a 30 second Google search, don't get crazy pissed off when we laugh at you.

im sure there is a hotel or something with a little grass slope behind it. wait for the next snow and go to town

assuming your skiing abilities are as good as your communication abilities, that is all you can probably do

please. please. please. see the sarcasm. Im reduced to begging you. It was tongue in cheek. How would I know about a neighborhood in the D, and be ignorant to where major ski hills are. Dont you understand how backwards that logic sounds?

I get that you all love to spot imposters, and jump at the chance to make people feel silly. Im sure it feels empowering to feel like you know something someone else doesnt, and to laugh at them is elitist. So congrats, you got to me, got me all rilled up.

I was humble enough to ask for a favor, but you were all so eager to cut me down that you couldnt see anything else. I guess Ill know better than to ask next time, which is a mega bummer considering how "tight knit" people want the ski community to be. I guess Ill see you dudes over the holidays. Ill be the guy shredding Capitol Hill.

newschoolers!!!!!

Summit County (where Abasin, Keystone, Breck, and Copper are) is not considered (by most) to be part of the Denver area....same as Milwaukee is not considered to be part of the Madison area. Seeing as they are similar distances from each other...

I think THAT is where the confusion arose. Can't we all just get along?

ok, look here....

1) pm a mod and have this thread deleted

2) create a new thread titled "looking for a place to crash around summit/eagle/vail" (these are the places at/close to skiing)

3) bring weed/beer to said crashing pad

4) there are not any "little local ski hills" here, we have mountains..sorry, had to give you some shit :)

5) its not called "Stone"

6) have fun!

I've got a sweet condo in Capitol Hill with a sauna/hot tub/pool, guest parking, big tv, home brewed beer and what not.

And you can definitely not stay with me ya winch.
