Why XC do you like dressing up in lycra?? Why not Dual Slalom...now thats fun. Hucking jumps and racing real hard. Now you need a different frame. Like K2 flying monkey or Azonic...To bad all the tracks here are wet.

I do have a Trek Fuel Already that i use for that kind of stuff. but i need a Xc bike so i can ride with my dad

 
why hard tail and why XC?? get a downhill bike, WAY more fun.

Hardtail.. if you have a jump bike or a dual slalom, you can use it as a xc bike.

i have my cannondale f400 that i haven't rideen since last summer. since my FUCKIGN SKI HILL STOP MOUNTAIN BIKING AND RACING i am gona go fucking nuts, there is no where to ride

lol you cannot ride an urban assault hard tail or dj bike in real xc. Head angle is wayyyyy too slack, they are heavy, usually with 24in rear wheels...it's just not very smart.

i would definitley go with a specialized stumpjumper or s works.
