Who else 'round here rides mountain bikes? Post up trail info/conditions/pics/vids from around the Ottawa area.

I'll start

Last weekend at Fortune:http://www.pinkbike.com/video/140386/

Yesterday at out local Kanata trails:http://www.vimeo.com/12160710

(link button doesn't seem to be working)

Today at Fortune we rode Bill's, Q-Cup, National, the top half of Dirty Little Secret and a bit of Salamander. Everything is really dry (go figure...) since we haven't had rain for a few weeks. The first berm and jump on the top, open section of Q-cup have gotten some dirt/love. Lifts open in a bit over 2 weeks, so get your passes. I hope to see some of you at the trail building day on June 5th

Our local Kanata trails are also super dry/dusty. We have 9 lines and the place grows everyday. Stuff ranging from mellow drops to quick DH runs to big senders. If you want to sesh our stuff, ask me for directions.

There is a dank ass new trail at fortune called MEGALODON (caps are necessary to describe it). There are some burly features on it, including a 30 ft curved wallride with a massive shark painted on it, 25 ft gap with a massive lip, creative wooden berm to hip dealio and lots of other jumps in between.

The Fortune trail crew deserves beer and a blunt for their work, not just on Megalodon, but over the entire hill. Little improvements to existing features/sections are always popping up. So yeah, THANK YOU Matt, Willy, Quin and Rob, you guys rock

It's built in the glade right next to Skyway, so... just use some discretion on what/how you it things, the trail crew put sooooo much work into it and it shows. That said everything is really well built, so i doubt it will do any harm.

Cool thanks. I normaly stay away from the downhill stuff for that reason. I wouldn't want to be the guy who ruins the fun for everyone.

In that picture the whaletail isn't finished. There is a wooden table/tranny coming off of it, no gap, so it can be rolled if you so please.

not of ottawa, but the section of yelling and the shit afterwards is me in whistler!
im pissed i didnt even get to ride fortune once, i was in bromont the whole time, and those pictures are looking like money
