Mount washington

Wow, sorry for the late reply. I sure hope that you didnt go. And if you did go, I sure hope you didnt pay for a lift ticket.

Unfortunately, we don't have any snow over here on the island. Apparently we decided not to take part in winter this year. Yeah, it sucks. Worst season in several years.

Mt washington may claim to have 90+ cm of snow, but on average if you look at the entire mountain, my estimation is that it is more like 50cm in some areas, and less in others. There are a lot of bare patches too, pretty sad.

If you did go, please tell me that I am horribly wrong, because I would really like to be wrong about this.

don't knock it too hard there Dan.

I've been up there every weekend except last and sure we have no snow, but it's still chill. It's good to just roll around with your crew and slay the rails.

Yeah, I know. If I had a seasons pass I would be up there every weekend with you. But, given the conditions that we have at the moment, would you honestly reccomend that someone spend the money to travel from the lowermainland, pay for the ferry, gas, and a lift ticket, to ski mt washington right now? That's a lot of money for not a lot of skiing, that's all.

How are the conditions now, because I might go to my friends place and go shred the slopes. I just want a general idea, such as is there good jumps rails ect

i was just there for the weekend. a lot of bare spots and ice patches. it was snowing when i left on sunday and apartently there getting a dumped on as i type this so expect some more terrain to be open, nothing like christmas last year but more terrain. there park crew was saying once they get a good dump they were gonna push up bigger jumps so expect to see that. Be there March 14th for the After-Dark Invitational, gonna be one hell of a show
