After hosting the first ever Cutters Camp East and then heading out to Cutters West, Gaitor and crew have returned home from Oregon and are ready to thow down some rails over at Carinthia for our second Peace Pipe Jam - Memorial Day Weekend - Sunday, May 24th.

This year's event will take place at the bottom of Inferno complete with music, BBQ, a bar and the mini-skate ramp and other skate features open for sessioning.

FREE. ONE LAST SESSION. Set up and times to come in the next few days.

We are looking to post the Mount Snow 2009/2010 Event Calendar in the next few weeks but here's a taste of what we are looking at.

The Grail and the Hucker return to new venues at Carinthia.

MS Freeski Open Returns with a much, much bigger purse. After year number one of running it ourselves we hear you. There might be some possible free wild card spots from qualifying events at some of our sister and non-sister resorts.

New event series - Gatorade Free Flow Tour - amateur series of the Dew Tour added some winter dates and we are scheduled to host one of these 10 events.

Return of the Dew Tour. Can't announce anything yet but...... looking good...

Pond Skim, Reggae ,Brewers Festival & all return with extreme Ripcord bump competition

The Gladiator finishing off the season in April.

 
Ripcord bump comp? I'm in. And one on beartrap too, maybe an endurance one, how many laps in one hour. Could be over 12. The other events sound fun too. How was the smells like teen spirit series this year?
 
is the memorial day rail jam still happening? look at the web cam of the pipe on mount snow's website. not much left, unless there is a bunch on inferno.
 
they pushed the last two booters together, thats where all the snow was anyway

the pile is still pretty ridiculously big

im really hoping they put the skate 1/4 out on the snow again.

IIm Pretty sire they have enough snow just maybe. Its just 2 HUGE jumps pushed together. NO biggy. This was taken may 2. cant see it from web cam
 
Here's the skinny...

The Carinthia Base Area will be open up with a bbq and beverages on Carinthia's Deck. Gaitor and crew have set up a mini-skate park out in the drop off circle and the pile o snow will feature a brand new staircase rail set up.

Smith Optics and Invasion snowboard shop will be on hand and prizes will be given away through random acts of kindness from our rangers and to those throwing down best trick.

11am - 2pm is the official time and all those wishing to hit the stairs must have a wristband after signing a quick waiver.

Come on out and enjoy some of the last snow around...

 
IT almost to legit. I'm pretty sure they just took one of the sets off the lodge, took out the middle railing and put top sheet down.

Looks super fun. maybe a 15?

Idk, maybe they're planning on putting something else down the center.

It prolly just a space issue. There would only be like 3 feet in between rails, freeing up the middle is kind nice. Plus each side has a round tube down, you don't really need 3 of the same thing
