Mount Snow improvements for next year

Alright so I'm hammered, but I think here's what mt. snow needs to do for next year:

-S-boxes/rails and c-boxes/rails

-Cannon boxes or jumps to barrel jibs(like 55 gallon drums stacked and welded together)

-Stacked tire Jibs

-Bus or car jibs

-Maybe a telephone pole jib

-More "urban" features--Maybe use one of the trails that didn't really get built up this year to put picnic tables, handrails, basketball hoops, etc. on.

-Multi-feature lines (i.e. have a butter box lead directly into a barrel tap to down box)

-Original urban rails

I think they got a good start this year, but they had a few trails on carinthia that were unused for park trails. Skier input is crucial for improvement, so throw in your two cents.
 
a nice big hip would be cool. so would a big quadkink. or put together a few rails into like a 6 kink or something
 
they need more origional rails or technical rail. they had way to many flat and down rails this year put some more kinks in there and some curves perhaps. and bigger jumps
 
I was looking at Mt.Snow for this winter. The website said there was more than 120 features. Are there really no kinks/ Cs/ Ss?????
 
I'm optimistic that they'll do some kewl new shit. It's like once they make the park, its hard to really change it up a ton cause you just paid for a lot of time to make all the piles in the right places and what not, so I'm sure that next year they have a better idea of what the they want to do on trails like nitro and titanium. Also, the groomers all went to cutter's camp, so hopefully they'll be better able to take park crew's advice on what types of creative jibs to build. The park crew seems to be stoked on making an even better park next year, so I'm going to remain optimistic. It really was a fun park to ride this year, but I'd definitely like to see some more creative rail combinations and funky jibs like they had in the "junkyard" this year.
 
MT SNOW was so fun this year, even tho i broke my collar bone there. Only thing i have to say is that there are too many flat rectangle rails, personally i like round rails better, and they only had that double barrel and down rail with plexy glass for round rails
 
mount snow was as good as it gets. rado and cali have something to catch up to. they had more perfect parks than you knew what to do with. but there is always room for improvement, so yeah, they could use an s rail or something that stands out, maybe a three hump rollercoaster...and since they have so much space, the gulch should have a 5 jump line, or a trail with 20 jumps in a row.

mount snow also stepped up the stash this year...they had a glade type thing with crazy banked turns and bmx jumps and rails and tire bonks all flowing through tight woods. every run through it was the gnarliest line of the day. so do more of that.
 
i think you are unaware of how much money it actually costs to keep running all thier shit until may with only one trail for park skiers.

my only wish is like a flowy jump line.... instead of having a month of haywire and the normal park having a fun jump that you couldn't get speed for in the beginning to middle, then the end they changed that to a tiny thing. and then 3 rails, to a medium but fun jump. I WISH we had more jumps and rails
 
my threads and please, at least one good wall ride other than the grommet doghouse. Also, a few trails like upper titanium and the liftline trail between gulch and inferno never got used, even though there was plenty of snow. Not complaining about the huge acreage covered in park features already, but it was kin d of false advertising.
 
can't see how you could possibly be disappointed with mt. snows park. i ski at whaleback everyday. and occasionally okemo when i can make it out there, so i can overshoot their shitty step downs and wait in their long ass lift line.
 
not disappointed, i think they did a ton in their first year, and am really impressed. they are obviously going to think about changes they can make for next year so it is even better though. the more ideas they get, the better the park will be. a lot of the junk jibs just takes a trip to the junkyard too, without too much investment necessary
 
Yeah Pat,

A lot of the new rails and boxes at Mt Snow were made down here at Big Boulder. I know they are bending curves now. I would expect some new stuff. However it has never been a "circus scene" with crazy curves in the rails and boxes. Unless things change dramatically it would be my guess to see mellow C's and S's - I should have looked in the shop when i was there saturday. But yeah Peak resorts is stoked on the park scene and will continue to up the ante!
 
does anybody remember mt. snow BEFORE carinthia. i know carinthia is great, but some of the feauters they had pre carinthia were so kickass!!! then, this year they replaced all those super sick feauters with all these new black thingeys. did anyone remember that kickass Hey Mom! rail? WHERE DID THAT GO MT. SNOW???? I WANT TO FUCKING HIT THAT AGAIN.
 
Dude the Hey Mom rail was up basically all year at the top of mineshaft skiers left, first rail. It's just painted black..

mountains stop making money in march, so to keep it open much longer really doesnt help them

and mount snow just bought a ton of new rails last season, and all the snow guns, so i doubt they'l bring much more new stuff in. they may make a few more, but id doubt anything crazy.
 
i'll never understand the ski obsession with kinks. i don't really think survival should be the primary goal when approaching a rail, and a 6kink is purely survivable. some junkyard stuff would be cool, but mt snow was damn near perfect this year.
 
haha i dono its just a fun way to challenge yourself without having to like, 630 on or some shit or do 8 million switchups
 
mt snow got some good things but like the og N.l. says still room for improvements, they need some longer features rail wise- ESPECIALLY a longer down rail, they used to have a cool dub kink the ones they had out this year were small, one of those lift pole wide barrels would be fuckin dope but they should also STRONGLY look at making the 3 jump line at bottom of diablo like PC's line- wider, bigger, and safe
 
A huge ass stair case, not like okemos with a takeoff. something that youd in front of a cities town hall with steps and platforms and all around gloriousness
