Ok so many of you have heard me talk about or got an email about a shared ski house at mount snow this season. I have been talking to realtors and viewed some property in the mt snow area and haven't found anything that could be affordable, fun, close to the slopes, and accomodate a good group. Untill I found this....This place is absolutely insane, HUGE living room, fireplace, den with pool table and beer fridge, big kitchen, and 2 seperate wings with 3 bedrooms a piece. All total there are 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms (2 beds each), and 12 beds!!
All of these are WITH utilities and cover the whole 6 months:
FULL SHARE - $1200 this gets you your OWN bed at all times and you will have your own room with a roomate. And you can store your skis, clothes, gear in the room and you can lock it becuase it is you and your roomates room only. There are four of these spots already taken (2 of the 6 bedrooms) but if anyone wants one they are more than welcome and we will cut off two half share spots (see below).
HALF SHARE - $600 (only $100/ month!) should get you a bed each night, could be a different bed each time you come up. If 4 people do the full share there will be 2 rooms occupied leaving 4 extra rooms with 8 beds total with about 12 half shares that means that unless every single person came up there would always be a bed for you to sleep in. Even if everyone does come up there are 3 couches, a loft, and we are talking about bringing up 2 more beds. So really you just don't have the same bed everytime, but you should have a bed everytime.
There are 4 people that are def getting full shares, this means that we need 12 people to confirm that they want in to keep the prices this low. Half the money will be due sept 1st and 2nd half before nov 1st. If you have a friend that wants in just talk to me, brandon, or pat and we'll set you up. GF/BF? If you think they are going to come up all or some of the times that you do just hit me up and we can chat, it will def work out.
Another issue is passes. College passes are $299 for Mount Snow, Attitash, AND Crotched (midnight madness anyone??) If you aren't in college find someone that looks even remotely like you or if you buy before Oct 13 there is a $599 non college pass that is unlimited except for xmas week and feb vacation week. There is always a way to get hooked up with passes and I'm thinking that with this landmark of a place some freebies are gonna be floating around...
The only bad part is that I really need some head counts and some honest commitments out of you guys shortly. The guy renting this place is really cool but he told me we have to act fast becuase otherwise he is going to give it to mount snow to rent out for the season. I know that alot of you have told me you are "def on board" but I need you to mean it so I can get a spreadsheet going and track payments and what not. Mt Snow opened Oct 31st last year, it's right around the corner!! Lease runs Nov1 to May1 so get ready!!!!
