Does anyone still ski at mount snow whose not just comp kids or kids or general, nothing against that I would just like to ski with more people my age but I hardly see anyone there anymore, all East cost homies went out west or to killington:(

edit: there’s still homies there just not on a very consistent basis

Yuh was lapping all last year. Seems like most non comp kids ski mid week, you're a mad man if skiing weekends at carinthia imo. Wondering what vails park plans are with carinthia this upcoming year, pretty weak last year

Yeah I tryn avoid weekends for the most part gets way to crazy, hopefully vail lets them step the park back up last year was definitely a bit disappointing

headed out to college about an hour from there this coming szn, is it worth getting a szn pass for? might just go ikon again and bum rides to bush/killy

The setups are usually pretty like slope style course esk at least the main one is so if your into that I’d say send it, ima be working there this winter so if you wanna see if you like it enough to get a pass I could probably hook you up with a free lift ticket one day too

Epic local pass opens up way more opportunities to ski. Killington is another 1.5hrs from snow and sugarbush is a haul. You could always do killington spring pass. Carinthia was open till second to last weekend in April which is pretty good despite shit conditions all year.

ill be at umass amherst which is just under 2 hours to killington, snow is just under an hour, and is also an hour out from wachusett and crotched. Bush will probably b around 3 hours but it's the relatively the same drive that I made this past szn regardless and by far my favorite place to go.

The past two years, It's been whimpy compared to C. So I get why they come here so often... I just don't get why Stratton wouldn't accommodate for their own Freestyle Team. I bet they don't want to attract stray park rats like us lol

Yeah true all that money there and from the school too you think they’d put money into the park, the two times I’ve gone there tho I always feel so judged so your probably right about that lol

Yea that's a high brow type of skier over there at Stratton. They're just jealous they can't figure out how to butter like us haha

Actually winter park and Windells build jumps like carinthia, but it's definitely uncommon

Windells doesn't build jumps, they just show up to the ftc.

Idk what this means I just meant the jumps there are similar, or at least were the one time I went a decade ago

Kinda funny all the best places with jumps are all connected by operators somehow.... Mount Snow/Carinthia old boss runs Woodward PC, another operator does Timberline Spring pass jumps/helps with Xgames builds. Kinda wild but alot of the people I know work with the shit snow in the East than move to bigger better things.

Windells doesn't build jumps, they just show up to the freestyle training center built by timberline.

my favorite setups are anything like how Sugarbush is, super flowy. I like a lot of features in one area with not a lot of travel time to get to the park (lift super close to the park)

I agree, killingtons peace park does a really good job with that too features super close and flowing

feel like killington lacks in rail count sometimes. There's a lot of flowy parts but usually not a lot of rails in one space either

Prospector at carinthia is probably the most flowy section of park...not many places doing it like sugarbush though, I'd keep yur eyes peeled at sugarloaf tho [tag=188025]@a_burger[/tag]

carinthia jumps gotta be the most weirdly made jumps ever, and unless you have the perfect speed you literally die.

but they shred

but i still prefer carinthia over killi

want to drive down to mt snow this spring for a weekend, wondered if any ns homies would let me park at their place for a night so i could sleep and not get my shit towed lmao.

I know a geezer that has a condo right below carinthia, remind me to get his unit # And anyweekend he's not there it's free game haha

I feel like C builds jumps that shoot you straight "up" instead of "out" ... and the last one on gulch is always the most sketchy of them all. I don't always hit that one.

Any Killington peeps?

To ride bikes yea. Be there this weekend. Also a solid ski mountain.

I stopped skiing at mount snow when i realized i was old and sucked at park.
