Mount mistake

Ski shop just called me, they finished mounting my skis but after drilling into them they realized boot center was .5 CMs off true center which is what I asked for.

Y’all think they owe me a new set? Or should I not make a scene?

Is it 0.5cm behind center or in front of Center?

Not a huge deal in my opinion.

If they're both .5cm behind center I wouldn't do much...try to angle for some tuning or wax down the road?

If they're mounted differently or ahead of center I'd have issues.
 
-0.5 is fine, I would just roll with it

You can definitely have them remounted if you would like, which is not hard to do. if you bought the skis from the same shop you had em mounted there’s a good chance you’ll get a good discount on a new pair or even get a set free.
 
Kudos to the shop for telling you. Probably not noticeable and they could easily have covered it up or just left as is.
