so after a 2 year hiatus of not riding/having a bike, i was finally able to get one again. so i'm stoked to be riding again.

so lets see what you guys have, whether it be an old cruiser, sport bike or enduro.

i recently purchased a 2001 cbr f4i 600.

so. what do you guys ride?

i searchbarred, and didnt find anything like this.

i dont wanna be "that guy" but this thread has been done probably close to 10 times. i would know because i still posted a bike on them lol

anyway, heres my 2013 trey-fiddy(350) in its natural stomping grounds

and yes its legal (not in this picture)

i searchbarred and googled for threads like it on NS, and the ones that came up were asking for advice on what to buy, etc. and most were 2008 and older..

This is my baby. It isn't holding up well cause it has been sitting for almost thirty years in my grandpas shed. The only thing that is holding up is the engine. Everything else is falling apart or breaking. I took it over as a project about a year ago and got it running and got new tabs and a new license plate. It still has a long way to go before it is "perfect" but who cares, it is so fun it doesn't matter.

thats sick. i almost bought one of those a little while back.. cafe cruisers are sick little bikes.

honda engines just keep on going.

related note: my dad still has his old honda 3 wheeler from like 71 or something, the thing runs like a dream. starts everytime. you cant beat old engines like that.

I want a bike but I won't get one. Not down with the extra cost or the prospect of a dramatically increased chance of death. I wish I had the balls to do it but I know multiple people who have died or nearly died on bikes even when they did nothing wrong and i just can't keep that shit out of my head. I respect bikers so much though because they all realize that risk but do it anyway because they love it so much. Props to yall

I would love to get a bike. so many fun roads up along the north shore, not to mention the scenery. just not in the financial cards right now.

yea, that was me for a while. but i was able to get a small loan, super low interest rate, and 100 bucks a month. and a good price on insurance.. so i went for it.

that, and i can ride year round since i'm in california, so it definitely makes it worth it. minnesota you get like 4 months of riding. ha

Diggin the XC.

I guess I can post mine, its a motorcycle. I really want a dual sport though

I have a 1978 Yamaha 125. Its still fully operational, in PRISTINE shape, I ride it all the time. It's heavy as fuck though. Will post pics later. I still need to put antique tags on it!

don't have a bike yet on account of my mom still cares about me and i'm 17, but as soon as i leave the house ill buy an older cafe and fix it up, like a dominator 99, or an old bonneville.

Yeah, 2013.

I sold my 08 200xc, and still had to drop about 3k on it. It was so worth it though. I love it.

I don't ride anymore, but this was my bike back in the day when I was like 13ish2003 yz85 with vforce reed valve, FMF Powercore 2, Black Pro Wheel rims.

I re-did the top end and the wheelset myself. The first ride after putting a new mod on and feeling the extra power or getting complimented on the looks of the bike made all the lawns I mowed so worth it. I definitely had the coolest bike in my whole school /claim

I have since sold it and am now more into mountain biking.

once i get owning a sportbike out of my system, i will probably go this route. restore an old cafe racer. they're sick bikes.

618155.jpeg 2005 Yamaha r6 raven edition. This is my baby. Had her for about 2 years now and put close to 10k on the OD. I ride this girl everywhere. Been tearing up the roads of europe and have never been so happy in my life. This bike is the tits, and I can say I will always be a Yamaha guy after this sweetheart came into my life.

i've always wanted an r6. black with red highlights. they have the sickest front end fairings/headlights. and if you get hid's in them, they're even sexier.

but i had to get what i could afford at the moment..

There's other thread but whatever. Also sold both my bikes. Danetron had one of mine he probably sold it or crashed it by now though.

my dad stretches his season to 6 months but it's cold and rainy. I don't know how he does it. he also lives about as close to iowa as I do to canada.

what year? looks like a newer body style?

this is on of the few things i will miss when i leave CA. beautiful riding days on coast highway in february(it was february when i took the picture.)

I'm not learned that well on dirtbikes, so I don't know the nomenclature of KTM's line, is that the moto or enduro version?

It's not mine strictly speaking, it's my Grandad's. I go over to his house every couple of weeks and ride it around the village he lives in to keep as he can't operate the kickstart anymore.

It was the enduro.

(Just a hint, XC is cross country, or the enduro and the SX is the supercross version)

Holy shit! I have this exact same Honda that my mom rode in her teen years. That is beyond sick. Exept mine is holding up exellent for some reason.

I was going to build it into a bober styled bike like orangecrush23 posted...more like the second of the two bikes he posted....then a certain ex gf got jealous of my new gf and said i tried to kill he and i had to sell the bike and pay my lawyer to keep me from going to jail for bullshit charges. Was a sad day i had just cut the rear of the frame and welded on a stretched and dropped new section :(

Hahah it took me a bit to realize it.

I kinda miss my xc though. It was soo much better for trail riding because it didn't have as much of a hit.

I love the 250sx though. It's still good for trails and enduros and it rips shit up on the track.

My Grandad's one is in a much better condition.

Recently one sold at auction over here for £150,000 ($225,337 US) in a far worse condition and a later version. Just to put it into perspective.
