So, im an exchange student in USA right now, and they just got a call from the grandma in new hampshire saying that the family's uncle were invovled in a motorcycle crash and they didnt know how bad it is. I;ve never met this uncle put the family is pretty torn up about it and the mom of the family is crying.

here is my problem :

I have never met this uncle so should i just go to bed and kind of ignore it.

Or should i go and try to cheer them up even i kind of feel akward doing that?

i know i sound kind of like a dbag, but i feel really uncomfortable if i would try to like to talk with them about it, any suggestions ?

try to cheer them up man. Its your family, even if it may seem akward its just something you gotta do when you gotta do it.

cheer them up. no matter if you've met him or not, he's your relative, and your family is scared, so go help them
wow, that was a lot of commas

no, hes an exchange student. hes torn because its not his actual family and he isnt related to any of them

just go listen to them, when people are in situations like that, in my experience they really just need some to listen to them
