Does anybody here ride bikes in the summer? If you like to go for a rip on the home track share some pics or tell us what you got and some stories.

I'll post some pics after I get home, but yesterday I walked in my garage and there was a massive puddle of fork oil all over the floor which is a fuckin great way to start the season

I did when I was younger, last bike was a yz85. I'll probably buy a cheap 125 and a big bore kit once I'm done with college.

Two stroke or you are a pussy, braap braaaap

I don't do motocross but I ride a lot. I have a KX 250. Used to like 4 strokes until I rode a 250 two stroke..

Just got a '05 crf250 last summer, only went riding about 5 times because it was always a chore to take them out. I'm moving to bend next month with some property and good riding is about 20 minutes away.

That just great isn't it ay. If they are just full of dirt and shit you could try these seal mate things. I used one on my 2006 cr125 last year and they worked great. But if the seals are actually ripped then you just gotta get new ones. But the seal mate things are cheap, you just order them right from their website and they are at the door and it is 100x cheaper than buying new fork seals.

250's are cool and will throw your head back for sure, but a 125 is a lot cheaper and you can still haul ass on a 125. And big bore kits are cool, but for the price it costs to get a knew cylinder and crank just doesn't make sense cuz you could have spent the money on a 250. I definetly like a 125 cuz i ride a tighter track and you can just rev the shit out of a 125 and adjust your speed using the clutch not the throttle lol

Basically the only reason I bought a 250 instead of a 125 is so that i don't have to beat on it as much and therefore not have to rebuild it as much :D the power is fun too tho haha

gonna hop on the kx450 on sunday and practice. First time since i dislocated it three weeks ago. Anyone here race?

Im pretty sure Im just gonna have to tear the forks apart and put new seals in. The guy I bought it from told me that they were leaky, but he also ice raced so Im gonna need to revalve them for dirt anyway.
