Mothership Titanium Vs. Flite

how much difference does the titanium make? i am going to be using these skis for pow, park, and a little racing because i am on the wsu racing team. i am wondering if spending an extra $50 on the titanium would be worth it. would these be good skis or should i get either chronics or skogens at about the same price?

um, the titaniums sound way nicer, apparently the flites have really undurable bases or something. Like extruded bases or something.

I own a pair of 192 cm Mothership Ti's with frischi freeride bindings for backcountry. I can't get enough of those skis i ski park on them 2 ft of pow on them 20 ft. drops with them (yes the AT binding are really durable so far). The Flites are shorter and lighter better as backcounry jib boards but the Ti's are really stiff and rock chutes and steep pow better i think.

Good to hear your Fritschi's are holding up that well.

I concur. If you want one ski for everything, racing included, get the Ti's...they'll be much more stable. However, they will also be much less forgiving in the park, but great sticks nonetheless.

What? Where did you hear that? The Flites and Titaniums are the exact same ski except the Titanium had Powerband technology integrated into them. Other than that, they are the exact same ski.

not that it means anything but J Lev says he fav ski is the Flite...cant get enough of em
