Title says it all..what resort has had the most snowfall in one season. I know ive seen a website with stats like that but im not finding it right now.

no place in utah has ever (recorded) received over 1000 inches. Mt rainier had the record before, then Baker stole that. All in washington

No, it's Baker. It was over 1200 hundred inches, and still has the world record. I can see Baker less than 50 miles away out of my bedroom window. WA winters are nuts, either super good, or super shitty. Goes in like waves of a couple years at a time, then one shitty one.

Baker has the record. If you don't believe me google it and you can look up the weather stats from the US Forest Service, which runs monitoring stations throughout America. There's a similar Canadian entity that does the same. Pretty accurate stuff. Didn't Freeskier run these stats in one of their issues already this year?

Go WA!

Baker' stats were only from mid-mountain - up top they had well over 1600 that year.

I have seen unofficial measurments from Kirkwood of 900-inch years - from top of the hill. But from monitnoring stations that the USFS uses they usual top out at 700-800 for a huge year

well maybe alta doesnt have the record but i am 100 percent its gotten over 1000 because i remember checking their website that year (like 3 years ago) and it was in the 4 digits and i couldnt fathom how much snow it was. i even did out the math to see on average how much fell per day.could been only 1080 or somethin but i know it was more then 1000

i dont know if alta has gotten that much snow i ski there alot. the do have a high average, well over 500 every year

id be looking in japan somewhere to find this record

it snows nearly daily there

there is never a bluebird day which is the big down side of a trip here
