Most Scumbag Moves at the Mountain

So, 2 weeks ago in the lodge, at the end of the day after I had taken off all my gear and was heading out to grab my skis, 2 girls came up to me, probably 8 or 9 years old, and asked me if I wanted their free hot chocolate that they didn't want. Naturally, as a ski bum who will take anything they can get for free, I said why not. The two girls then ran away to the other side of the lodge. After taking my first sip I realized it was a mixture of what tasted like old tartar sauce and some sick kind of mustard. I did nothing afterwards, just threw it away and left.

NS, whats the most scumbag thing that somebody else has done to you at the mountain?

PS - Jokes on them, I like tartar sauce and mustard.
 
I work at a ski resort in the cafeteria section. One day, my brother brought his two little kids up to ski. It was the end of my shift and no one else was there to help me, so I asked my nieces to do me some favors. Anyway I had them restock the hot cocoa, and they decided to be creative and put cinnamon, and extra sugar, maybe some other ingredients. One of them got a cup for me, but I had already had some, so I told them to give it to someone else. So they give it to this weird looking guy (probably homeless). And the guy just fucking throws it away. Who the fuck does that.
 
Not at a mountain, but one time there was this urban skier who was a total douche, he mouthed off to a security guard, threatened to sue, told the camera man to set a pick for him and hit the rail even though he was told not to. what a scumbag move

Last season at Sugarloaf my buddy brought his new setup to the mountain. 4Frnt Hoji's with Look Pivots. We put out skis outside the lodge after our last run to take our boots off and when we went back to get our skis someone stole my buddy's. We looked for about an hour and couldn't find them. We told some people who work at the resort to look out for them and we left. He was so bummed. When we were driving home we stopped to get gas and his skis were on someone else's rack who was also stopping for gas. My buddy was so pissed and tried to get them back and the dude swore up and down that they were his. I blocked the guy's car and my friend grabbed an ice scraper from his car and threatened the dude with it and he eventually gave the skis up.

One day as I was getting on the lift this guy behind me in the lift line said "Better tighten that helmet more or you will get stupider than you already are" I was 12 at the time and this dude was straight up harassing me with his son right next to him. I said " Thank you" and tightened it and he said another smart ass comment I cannot remember. That is Elk mountain in a nutshell.
 
One of the most scumbag moves that everyone seems to do is dropping their trash off the lift. There's a fucking trash can at the top of every lift I've ever seen. Just hold it til then.
 
When people try to spit on you off the lift. Can't say I havent thougt about it myself but I wouldnt be so low to actually do it.
 
Sunday river couple years back there was a family that parked their massive Yukon xxxxllllll super duty (big ass white suv) in the 15 min parking zone left it running for the day while they went skiing, i saw them get out at 8am at lunch it was still there when I went to my car and when I was done around 3 they were just getting back into it. They did this 3 days in a row I couldn't believe no one said or did anything.

probably when overprotective douchebag parents with little kids yell at me to be more careful when I'm doing nothing wrong, especially when they should be on the greens anyway.

Doing nothing about it is just as bad as being that dude.

He could have put a stop to that fellows behavior. Instead he caught some butthurt because hes probably more upset the dude got VIP parking than a few more toxins got into the air.
 
This Joey, for life, traversed off the run at a speed he couldn't handle and slammed into my wife who was mining the pow in the trees. She lay there unable to get up and he skied away. Didn't even check on her. My buddy saw the whole thing and chased him to the lift line where I was waiting. My buddy called him out and Joey headed straight for the parking lot. We chased him down and din't let him leave. I'm ready to punch this guy, and he's claiming he's got something in the glove compartment of his car that could even the situation, when my wife calls. She was OK. We carefully explained what a kook he was and told him to leave.

Its my fancy sauce!

One time I went into the lodge for maybe 5 minutes, when I came out my skis had been moved from their location on the rack I had left them. I searched around for a couple of minutes with my friend, my first reaction was that somebody had jacked them or taken them without knowing they weren't theirs. To say the least I was pissed, after a few more minutes I stumbled across them just down the way a couple of racks over, I was thoroughly confused and still don't know why somebody would do that.

Others include getting snaked by dicks in the lift lines, getting cut off while riding the park, and others.
 
Well i've just about seen everything get stolen goggles, poles, skis, gloves, ect.

But, the worst thing i;ve seen is a kid snatched a good amount of random goggles around the lodge then went outside and handed them out saying he used to be sponsored by all those companies...pretty fucked.

Thats actually funny as fuck obviously really stupid and dick though. Annnyone who takes a pair of used goggles from some kid is a moron as well though. I wouldn't want someone elses shit.

Well today there were these 2 snowboarders that kept doing stupid shit to me like going up the rope tow on my skis and just generally being annoying. Also last week they were making fun of this handicapped kid. Would've told them to fuck off but I went alone today so my chances wouldn't be too great if it turned into a fight.

me and my buddies always do this to fuck with each other. if they ever gret really mad we just tell them where it is.

Welcome to the east coast. Let's pay more money to ski less terrain than anywhere else in the country. Except maybe the midwest. Are lift tickets expensive in the midwest?
 
People who steal shit. I never leave anything in the lodge but had a beater board (That I loved) with new bindings jacked years ago.

That shit bothered me more than the dude that tried to strangle my fellow park ranger, having to break up a huge brawl in the park once and other shit.

Idk, don't fucking steal shit. Stealing is lame as hell. If you're friends steal shit punch them in the fucking mouth.

Time for a cool story hansel. Worked at one mountain for a few years. A lot of kids there, also too much energy, alright but many times too add'd out. Told some of them that I'd give them a ride to pay your age day at mt snow if they were good and left me a lone to build. Went, had a good day. One of the kids went in to take a break while we took another run. Ended up being our last run went in to get him, when we came out his board was gone. He used to be at the mountain almost every day (night skiing mountain) and after that went maybe twice that I saw. That made me rage so hard. Seeing this kid crying because some scumbag stole his fucking snowboard.

They should throw out decoy's at carinthia and then arrest/ beat the piss out of the people who steal them. A lot of places are bad but damn that's the worst I've ever seen. That day there were at least 5 sad people looking hopelessly for their boars/skis at the end of the day.

If you steal shit FUCK YOU I HATE YOU! Stop stealing shit. Especially stuff like that. People that feel entitled to other peoples shit. Bad things are heading your way motherfuckers!

STEALING A FUCKING HELMET, YOU FUCKING SHIT (whomever did it) That happened to me today, the damn thing was like 3 years old, I hope it provides no Cranial support at all to whoever stole it.
