Most OverHyped pro skier in your opinion?

I'm going to go with Peter Olenick. the dude still hasn't done anything to make hiw whisky flip more consistat, doesn't seem like he's had a good segment in a few years. Over all the dude needs to lay of the partying and step it up. Not saying he's a bad skier at all, just would like to see him back where he used to be.

Who do you all think is the most OverHyped?
 
this sound like it's gonna trn into a full on hate fest. when i think about it i cant think of anyone that fits the bill more than pete actually. he is kick ass but maybe not as much as the hype would suggest.
 
Colby is rated right around the top -- right where he should be.

John Symms is totally overrated, even more than Pete, probably.

One super underrated guy is Charley Ager.
 
Well when I think of Colby the first thing that comes to mind is "Lil Wayne", but I wouldn't say that his skiing is overrated.
 
why does everyone hate on peter, mik d isnt very good, except for 1242 i havent seen him do anything cool

but I'd have to agree with peter because he isn't that skilled, or wallish, who is pretty ridiculously skilled, but everybody needs to stop riding his cock
 
simon dumont, he has ugly style in comps (though good style when just skiing) and his mean cocky attitude, and just pretty much everything about him just sucks, he should be playing hardcore football or wrestling with the other tools, not skiing.
 
if you are being seroius, you are the biggest retard ive ever met. the song was so cliche that it killed me, and even if you do use it, make it epic. not fuckin lifestyle shots in an airport. he does blunt grabs and misty 5s the whole thing, and not one impressive shot. yeah dude had about 15 better segments then his
 
This thread is stupid, there are way to many underrated skiers to have an overrated skier thread.
 
This is a thread about over-rated, not under-rated.... But since you are going in that direction i'm going to say Bibby is one of the most under-rated skiers out there.
 
MOST UNDERRATED: charley ager, cory zila, tyler ceccanti, dana flahr.

MOST OVERRATED: Dunno. All the pros are good at times and aren't so good at others. But they're still damn good.
 
yeah peter's segments from years ago like in war for example, were so ahead of anyone elses but now hes behind i think
 
i don't like anyone who skis without poles. I know I'm gonna get hated on, but for me, whenever I see someone throwing a trick with no poles it's like something is missing. I don't know what it is, it's probably just a mental block, but I think it really detracts from their skiing if they don't use poles, especially when they are just skiing and not jumping.
 
Are you shitting me! Peter had such a sick segment in Yeah Dude. I dont know if you saw it or not but it was steeze all the way.
 
What a horrible thread. If there's anyone to blame for the "overhyping" of skiers its the media. Damn assholes.

The "overhyping" of athletes can also be attributed to the public. If you guys want more Peter Olenick interviews, you'll get them, so long as you keep buying the magazine, visiting the website, and buying the product.
