People on this forum were all about his videos here like... 10 years ago? And then one day he was just not skiing anymore. *poof* just like that and to my knowledge no one really knows why
 
I think in Candide’s case his mystery has been good for him up till now. He was dropping the illest videos and then showing up literally nowhere else. I don’t think, however, that he will be able to maintain the current goat status for much longer. He’s getting older and seems to be plagued with little injuries. I think Audi nines was a good opportunity to show that he still had the park game on lock, but he was “injured.” Id argue that he is being passed up by skiers like Sammy Carlson. It’s hard to keep calling someone the best skier alive when there are other people who can maintain a much higher level of riding through the season. In his prime, and even far after, Candide was the best... but when does mystery turn to hiding?

By that logic, Tanner is for sure the current GOAT. His urban game is still so heavy, he can lap park with the best of them, and the lines he is throwing down in the pow are still game changers. Also gonna start competing in Big Mountain. Tanner is current GOAT

THIS. I get that he's older and all but like. I kinda wanna see Candide ski on snow more. The ski the world Audi thing was cool and filmed and produced well I think. But I'd like to see what he can still do on snow.
