It made JON loose big milions on contracts and lost credibility in eyes of the big player sponsors. Hence no more JOSS days. also bear in mind JON organized all the lux hotels, food, filming etc. and payed for it for the athletes, this is how these 2 wannabes repaid jon.

And Dumont is a very nice/chill dude. Keep in mind that its rare to name a pro without one fanboy having a supposedly negative experience meeting them in passing. Take what you hear with a grain of salt, as proven fantastically by that fanboy above who appears to be caught up in the rumor mill.

Pros were seen as being spoiled brats when they complained about the housing or food. In all honesty they got all the free Max burger food they wanted- think McDonalds food, and then stayed in average housing right alongside all the other skiers- not luxury accomadations.
The pros also missed 2 weeks MINIMUM of prime filming season. So instead of promoting themselves through shots in films, they were promoting Jon and his contest, which they recieved NO CUT OF if they didnt win an award. Jon made mucho dinero from this contest through the exposure it brought him, and constantly directing the whole logistics of the contest and travel while the contest was going on instead of hanging out with the pros made him appear a bit of an outsider.
Jon began to view some of the pros as ungrateful. Afterall, Jon had organized the LARGE event(much larger than 9 knights) and was doing a great, tremendous, awesome thing for the ski community, but wasnt being shown the props he believed were deserved from the pros.
All of this friction made some of the Pros resent Jon, and Jon resent some of the pros.
then, the judging criteria for the videos was changed a few days before the deadline, and many days into the filming. this was viewed as Jon playing favorites and helping out his friends(Team Canada). I mean really, who didnt fucking love TJ and Chug. so when the films where shown and Team Americas video was the best by far according to the originaly agreed upon criteria they were understandably upset.
Team america thought that why shouild Jon make money off their video when he literally just took that money out of their pockets a day earlier. so they released their video.

not really a pro, but i remember bryan gallant (disaster to death) coming on here a few years ago and being a total jerk off. i think he made a thread saying how he was done with skiing, and how he hated it, etc. He seemed like such a whiney dude. people would legitimately criticize his posts and he would get really pissed off.
not a skier but danny davis is a fucking douche from what I recall. he got super mad when skiing became an Olympic sport all because he fucked up his Vancouver dreams by being a drunk asshole. fuck that dude.

There isn't anyone in skiing as bad as shaun white, so I think we're fine. I've been told by my friends that Andy Parry was pissed and didn't talk to anyone on the hill when he was at Trollhaugen, but I can see why, he was trying to get a trick that was damn near impossible. Pretty sure that was only 1/4 of the story too.

i wasnt on ns for joss so i had no idea that it had all this drama. I always thought the money just ran out for an expensive, non mainstream ski comp in Sweden.

Bryan Gallant was a cocky douche who thought he was the best skier on the hill. He would talk shit needlessly on other skiers. Coming from someone who had many friends that knew Gallant growing up on the EC and a few who have hung with him in Colorado, I can tell you he is indeed a douche.

I mean I know that lots of factors played into this but I think since Tanner broke his legs on that TGR shoot he has pretty much become a burnout. He is still a great skier but he is no where near on the level that he was in the 2000's and as far as I can tell he is constantly high or hammered. So as far as fucked up pros go THall takes the cake
