Most durable skis?

So I go through skis pretty quick I think, probably quicker than I should. So really I am just looking to find out the most durable brands/models in particular have a good history of being durable, whether someone knows from personal experience or from a buddy they ride with, input would be good.

I'm about 5'11" and weigh abouuttttt 200 (although i haven't stepped on a scale in like 6 months) and I ski really hard.

I was thinking about either abangs or stepups, mostly so i can have my friend redesign the topsheet for me, but if they are shit for durability i probably won't be doing that. I'm just looking for a ski that will last me through a whole season, if not more.

+k for useful posts

definitely don't get the after bangs, I've heard mixed opinions on the step ups, but a ski that i know to have great durability are the k2 domains, very playful s well as durable for the rails, haven't hit a single jump this year so i have no idea how they fair on the jumps(ski in north carolina:()

Well I've had a couple pairs of k2s and, in my opinion, they're the most durable skis out there. I've been told I'm an aggressive skier and I feel like I am. Right now I'm on domains and those things have been through hell and back with me and they're holding up great. My previous pair of k2s were the Kung fujas, I skied those for 4 years before they finally gave in (snapped). K2 may not be the lightest, but they have rivets in the tips and tails that just stop them from falling apart. Living on the east cost, I tend to hit more rails then jumps and k2s hold up strong. I've also skied Volkswagen and they too hold up well, but not as we'll as k2s in my opinion.

I've got a pair of afterbangs. I did 50 days on them in the park and now use them for urban, dryslope and indoor ~3hrs a week ish. They he abused, ridden over concrete, dropped, thrown, never waxed, they're holding up pretty good.

Lib-tech (Narrow Ass Snowboards) are some of the most durable skis I've ever ridden. Lib has a reputation in snowboarding for making bomb proof boards and it seems to carry over to their skis. That being said, I don't really feel like magne traction adds a whole lot to the ski, and they still need to work out the kinks on some of their ski designs, the shovel on my pipe NAS is so low it deflects off the smallest chunks of snow (it's almost flat). They may have gotten better since my skis are 2011. Construction is definitely solid, even more so than my Kung Fujas, which I will agree with the other people here, K2 makes a durable ski. But the K2 bases aren't nearly as bomb proof as lib-tech bases are. I've run straight over rocks and had not a mark to show for it on the lib's, the k2's show some surface scratches when I ride them in the spring snow/rock mix, but not the lib's.

A friend of mine has Armada Ar7's which have held up really nicely and he skis really aggressively with a ton of rails and just generally smacking the skis around

Another friend uses K2 Iron Maidens he is a little bit more gentle with his skis but still hits a lot of rails and his K2's seem to be in very good shape after a ton of riding on them.

More mixed reviews on the abangs aha

And i have only heard good things about k2, so that might end up being the final choice

And i will definitely look into lib tech, my friend has a snowboard of theirs and he loves it

personally my choice would be the liberty lte's. I go hard on those things, park and glade skiing. I slam over rocks and shit and not at the end of the day my edges are solid and besides some small scratches in the base there aren't any core shots.

Head oblivions just fall apart. they have been awful. especially the mojo binding. My mates after bangs are screwed from riding them indoor mostly so they suck. had a set of tanner halls that took a good beating. they were solid

armadas are very very durable, my ar7s are beat to hell, but just little scratches. Sidewalls and edges are still there. great skis.

I have heard ON3P has insanely good durability. I ride armada AR7's as they have held up very well

I have some ON3P's probably that and my G-butters are the best skis i have ever purchased. Highly recommend both.

I hear that Armadas/Atomics very durable, is there any truth to that? More specifically armadas, since I just picked up a pair of TSTs.
