Even though i hear it's not that far, a trick that makes you go WHAT!? is a switch front flip. Looks dope if you tweak it at the top.

 
The trick to a cool christ air is to crank down your DIN,release your skis in mid air,wave them like you wanna,then keep them in your hands and land with your boots:possible if the landing is steep enough.

paul cotter threw a bunch of double lincolns at mt hood last summer, coming up just short on all 4 attempts... it's all on an urban mtn bike vid called killing time. his friends made it and gave him a section.

also, wilson threw lincoln over off a flat down at the USFO.

someone suggested both of those tricks before... and they're already in the works.

in this one snowboard movie this guy drops out of a chairlift straight into a wall of the pipe and then did like a 7 off the next wall and zero spin spread

 
most creative trick ive done:

butter 5 to switch 180 manual 180 off on a shitty little table one night.

various little stalls/spins

some things i would like to see:

switch 270 on to nosepress to switch out.

a rotating circular drum (like in some skatparks) with tranies all around. you could stall up there, ride it around, and hop off whenever you liked.

The wilson flip takes it, even though it was hucked and looks like an aerial trick, it's steped up a notch and shows real progression.

No one ever does McTwists in the pipe. I mean real ones like skaters and boarders, come up to the lip and then flip front wards and down while spinning. I think it was potential to look awsome but not many people do them. The old dudes used to do them more like Ostness, Vinny, Atkinson, etc.

^ yeah thats true , we need to see more mctwists in the pipe. I mean in snowboardin a good run always has a mctwist. Not saying we should follow snowboardiing, but a smooth mctwist in the pipe looks sick as hell.

Imagine the trashiest mother fucker, rocking a brown leather coat zipped all the way up, some white electrics with the black band, hair to the side tucked into his googles and rocking jeans, carving from right to left off a jump grabing nose and just holding it forevor and releasing about a foot away from landing. That would be the best thing ever!

hands down...but come on, see a skier not rocking one bit of oakley at all would be pretty progressive in itself.

I have last year's Mad Trix with the pivoting system binding and i went off a small kicker and tried so spin my skis around on my feet while i faced the same way. The skis spun about 90 degrees and i landed facing straight downill and my skis on sideways...and then i started tumbling a lot...then my head started hurting a lot...then I never tried that again

I know I'm gonna get shit for this, but Mike Nick's lui kang kick outs are pretty creative. I mean you ever try doing that in a spin it throw you off sooo much. I dunno I kno its all been done but I still think its pretty creative. Also like to see mute mctwists in the pipe that would be hot.

going by the fact the creative should be something never done, Wilson gets my vote. He's combining multiple(complicated) tricks together. That's something not many people, if anyone has done. They may be hucked as shit, but they are also more progressive than anything out there. Fliffus or whatever, that was fuckin crazy

Wilson gets way too much credit.... Toben was throwin sleazy venus flytraps 5 years ago, and saying that his 'Wilson Flip' is progressive is synonymous to thinking the schrabs switch back to front deal a couple of years ago was dope too.....

best shit has gotta be done throughout a course, not just one trick, but linking through a slopestyle course... that's when the opportunites rise.

slopestyle courses are cool but those are setup so you have lines through them...what is cooler is when you just get your buddy with a follow cam and you find your own lines through the average park, ones that aren't even setup to be skiied that way, thats the most fun stuff and you can get really creative, you don't even need to hit the features right.

If we(skiers) are trying to copy snowboarders so badly, why then do we have two sticks under our feet when they only have one?

tanners smooth dspin 1080 in happy dayz is sick...also in RFA, John Symms does this crazy double grab thing, i forget what its called, but its pretty tite, its like he grabs both skis on the inside, like where you would grab safety...so its like a double reverse safety or somethin...

What would be a sick trick is if you set up a switch back but just before complete invert, rotate maybe a 3 or 5 while finishing the flip, kinda like danny kass switch backside rodeo, that would be ill

 
I totally forgot about Toben throwing down shit like that in thirteen, but my point is still the same...I wasn't meaning to sound like it gave Wilson all the credit for the most creative trick, what I meant was that what he is doing is different right now. I think that linking tricks in the same air is creative, Toben did it back then, Wilson does it now.
