well... you see, it really depends on which mormons you happen to be talking about... are you talking about the true original mormon faith, or the ones that sprouted from mormonism and still call themselves mormons, but practice polygamy?

i also live in utah and most of them are just weird so i tend to stay away from them as much as possible, also their laws are fucking shitty, and that is what pisses me off the most, theres absolutely no reason to make beer with 3.2% alcohol, if the fucking mormons arent drinking it, then why should they care about the alcohol content of beer, and thats just one of the stupid laws, you also have to be 19 to buy tobacco products, again mormons cant smoke so why should they make a shitty law like that, my english friend Ross put it best when he said, if SLC wasnt run by a bunch of twats, then it would be the whistler of america

this falls into one of two categories i never like to discuss. religion and politics. they both end up in fights between both parties involved. but since i'm already wasting valuable newschoolers bandwidth, my point of view is that anyone can believe whatever they want. As long as they aren't violent ufo gun toting violent people kinda thing. that's the beauty of this country. same with skis. you ski what you like, and i'll ski mine and we'll all be happy. that's all. carry on.

they are just nice people as far as I'm concerned. Most people who talk shit on them are either 12 years old or have never met lots. I moved to Utah two years ago and none of them have ever given me a problem. They can be a bit superficial, but who can't? Trying to making sweeping generalizations about races or religions never really works out.

Any religion that causes the highest suicidal rate in teenagers cant be good. One of my friends on the soccer team is a mormon and he's sick shit. I mean he cannot have sex before marriage, couldn't date until he was 16, cannot ever swear or masterbate. Oh and he cannot do anything on Sundays but stay home but other than that he's one of the chillest kids ever.
