I was watching some old warren miller flicks on OLN (Outdoor Life Network) and there was a clip of tanner when he was 16. Kid was ripping it up then, great bump runs, flawless rodeos and such, ETC. Just made a better impression of him, he really is an all around great skier.

I think he is an amazing all around skier. And I think he rips big mountain. he does it differently than the rest(ie: mcckonkey, nobis, morrison) so a lot of people thinks he sucks at. But what ever I don't see anybody else giving Bigmountain skiing a different style of RIDING.

 
didn't he just start big mountain skiing not too long ago? I mean if so then he has already progressed alot for such a short period of time.

^Actually, Tanner grew up in Montana, so the kid knows how to ski lines. He just hadn't gotten movie time in places like alaska or BC until a few years ago. The ways he sees lines not as where he can make turns, but what features he can jib off is pretty progressive. It's going to be cool to watch him, now that he's on a ski with a higher tail than tip.

i agree brian...tanner rips the fuck outta big mountain in his own way.

plus hes doing it on centermounted soft 191's, most other bigmountain skiers wouldnt even step on those things

and Tanner is always doing new tricks like double grabs and switch 450 and 630 disasters. He is on of the best skiers with out a doubt!

 
yea tanner is basicly the shit...but god please do not think of him as the best, there are so many other well rounded skiiers as well. Im not trying to rip on tanner, but make sure you respect all the other skiiers out there.

yea def, he is amazing, and he was incredible at such a young age, like he was doing inverts way before 16......he is incredible, and i agree that we should respect him way more than some ppl do...

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

he does have a different style of bug moutain riding, but I don't think u can say he's on the same level as sum oth park rider like cr, sage, n abma, pollard.

Remember it's 10% equipment, 90% rider, and 0% what kinda jacket your wearing

i give tanner full respect when he is flying through the air, but if he is not spinning in the air all you can do is laugh. And if you do respect him dont bother reading any new articles that were just released because i asure you you wont have respect after reading them, i know i wouldnt have respect for ANY skier who said that shit

 
^He's frustrated that bode miller goes out and for the same stuff gets paid a million dollars, just from his ski contract. I would be angry too if I had given my life to a sport only to watch someone in a different area of what I did make twice as much.

i think he should take rahlves up on his offer and maybe rahlves will crash and tanner will post a better time

i cant remember what film, but it was an old mogul flick, and tanner had a shot of him when he was 10 hitting a cattrack gap some people made, anyway he busts a stock 7 and explodes on the cattrack...all im saying is this kid has been good since day 1

i definatly respect the dood cause hes so good and hes done so much for freeskiiing, but i think he should finish highschool and gain a little respect for everyone else
