Boreal Mountain Resort will host Tahoe’s first-ever rail art contest, in which three artists will be chosen to be rail and fun box graphic designers for the resort’s current features that have no visual art.
Three artists will win the opportunity to showcase their artistic ability.

- Entry is fee free.
- Entrant must be 16 years or older.
- Entries will be accepted until noon on Sunday, February 26.
- A judging panel comprised of park and marketing staff will decide the winners. The winning decision will be made on Friday, March 3. Winners will be notified via email or telephone.
Winners will be chosen based on artistic creativity based on the previous works, and rail art design ideas.
Each of the three winners will be provided the materials needed to design one rail for Boreal’s Jibassic Terrain Park. Each winner will also receive two Boreal lift tickets.
The three winners must complete their projects must be completed by 3/22/06. Projects will be displayed on-hill during the rest of the 05/06 season and during the 06/07, until Boreal decides to replace the design or hold another “rail art” contest.
