I think there should be different forums on this site, just one or two more to have a bigger selection. any suggestions on what topics could be on?

These things make me mad. COC session C.
 
I think there should be less Regional Forums... there at soo many that nobody ever uses them... Maybe One for the Northwest... one for the MidWest... and One for the East... plus one for Oceania, and one for Europe.

Some of the regions are used quite a lot.

The thing with that, is that you can pick whichever level of regions to view. For instance, you could click on all of canada, and follow any discussions in it, or you could just choose Ottawa and it'd be more specialized.

From running a site myself before, I think if anything the forum software should be updated. These forums are ugly and lack lots of standard functions. If you create more forums, then you end up splitting the forum into different niches. This happened to me. Some people end up posting only in certain sections and what not. And I personally find it a bitch to have to check out ski, then non-ski, when I don't really give a shit where the threads are created. Ski, non-ski, and ski equipment, are the only 3 forums I ever look at. Keep it simple and don't make it a bitch for us to navigate around the site.

Simple? Most forums have like 10 different sections. One of the nice things about NS is it is so simple. There isnt a whole bunch of crap that makes loading times horrible just to make it look better. This is one of the simplest, yet one of the best made forums that I've seen

these forums are anything but ugly! they are smart, slick and easy to use. its up to you which secyions you use, but just coz you use 3 doesnt mean that no one else uses the others.

personally i use site discussion and NSG the most. but look at the post counts there is 1000s in the other forums to. They do get used, albeit not as much as NSG and SG, they still get used.

and what site exactly do you run? Do you have over 20 000 members? Do women run up to you and drop to their knees and tell you to fuck their face just because you run a ski site? No, they don't.
