more advertising

so i was just on snowboard.com wich is a super rad site and the first thing i noticed was how much advertising there was, that would explain the awesome quality of the site and probably the number of active members it had. I mean they had animated adds for everything like every sb movie taht came out this year, winning trips in conjunction with travelocity and alaskan airways, snowboard brands and what not, i mean it was cool and all of it snowboard realted, i think we need to get the industry and related industried more involved with this site. that's just my opinion and observations though

no we dont. Do you know how many members that site has? Around 550,000. I never want this site to get that big. I mean, harvey could use the money for a better server. But id hate to see this site go that far downhill.

^I'm with him, I really didn't want this site to go past 10,000 members. It was so nice back then O well. I asked Harvey a while ago and he said he will not cap it off, he will let NS grow as big as it gets

my old sn was like member 7000, and NS was so much better back then. i hope NS never gets that many members

back in the day... damn when there where like 10,000 or less members this site was at its prime. i would die if the site was as big as snowbarding.com... i'm down for mad advertisment from companies involved in the ski industry hell a new server or two wouldn't be to bad right now.
