Moped short film - "Puch Days of Summer"

I know this isn't the typical film you'd find on NS but I think a lot of you might appreciate the carefree summer vibes of this short video I recently made. Similar to skiing, mopeding alone is fun but its unreal when its you and your gang taking over the streets, and thats what we wanted to capture

Would love to hear peoples thoughts/critiques!

ah man, this just hit home hard for me. I've been living in Vancouver, BC for 6 years now but before that Vermont for 13 years. I've been living out the scooter dream pretty hard out west here on my yamaha bws (zuma). And my parents still live up near overlook park. If I ever move back to VT i'll definitely have a little scoot or moped- I can't believe more people don't ride them.

loved this little piece man

Where did you acquire so many mopeds?

craigslist! NH/MA/VT craigslist is filled with Puchs. Thats where my friends and I acquired all of ours, mostly in NH. I moved to SLC a few years ago though and I have yet to see another one in the wild, I think they are more of an east coast thing :(

They look pretty rad, I ride around a 1975 Yamaha Enduro 175. If you have something to ride in Salt Lake, I should be bringing it out in the spring and would love to rip around. Also nice work on the edit, First Aid Kit fit the perfect summer vibes.

Pretty sick. What camera/glass are you using? It looks amazing

thanks man, I used a Sony A7S and 50mm f1.8 for all the tripod shots and the handheld shaky stuff out the car window. For the slightly smoother shots with a some wobble I used a Sony A7Sii and 35mm f1.5 handheld against my eye using the built in steadyshot, and for the very smoothest shots I put the A7Sii on a MōVI m5 and either walked with it or stood out my buddies sunroof to follow haha
