Looks like moonstone envys blue and is trying to step it up. They are building thier park and second superpipe.

SEE MOONSTONE PARK

I dont think they will ever be able to match what blue mountian has proven is the best park in ontario, but moonstone is now claiming to hold the very same title. Anyone been to moonstone with with some feedback on the park? Let us know.

not to offend anyone that works for blue of course... Im just asking if moonstones park is as good as they claim it is.

I was at moonstone on the 17th.They had two parks open and i half pipe.They were working on the super pipe.There parks are really good.Tons of rails.curved rails.straight rails,kinked rails,one S-rail,long and short rails.Lots of table tops.One fourty footer right beside the chair lift and a couple fun boxes.They also have music and chair lift.The park is great.

moonstone had their time... only thing they got that blue will never have is the highway... but it's only an extra what? 30min to blue...

blue's got the park pass, the strong scene, the chairs at the bottom, and friendly, helpfull, skillfull park techs... mostly.

you know, something that we all forget from time to time is how effitient the lift at blue is... it takes on a bad day 1 to 2 mins to get on the lift.. on a good day usually there is no one in line. at louie whenever i go its usually crowded as hell and takes a long time to get on the lift. dont get me wrong, i dont mind hiking, but i would much rather just do consecutive run after consecutive run

 
yeah i think the park pass is a big advantage Blue has over moonstone and their park is so crowded its hard not to get snaked. ive skied only a few days there in the past few years and got into a stupid crash with stupid people resulting in injury, which might have been prevented if those people had had to get a park pass. not to mention few to no skiers there.

sorry jodi, but i havent been to blue in a year, moonstones park is so sick. it flows soooooo much better and the hits are sick, their pipe is sick, and its cheaper than Blue. and who cares if you get snaked 5 times in a day of skiing at moonstone, its almost 40% cheaper for me with my CSIA.

i heard its hasnt changed a whole lot and still has no flow to it.

Yeah i ski powder.....but its man made.

Ontario skiing is so GNARLY.
 
Im at Blue every weekend this year and worked at Louie last season and I hit up Moonstone this past tuesday and the park was decent but at the same time a little over hyped. they had 8 rails on the one side and 4 kickers with a couple different take offs. The Pipe was actaully decent for once in its life over there. But ya Blue def. has the scene and the people. But I guess its all a matter of personal opinion.
