Hey guys, I should put this in regionals, but I'll do pretty much all the Canada so I don't want to post in every regionals.

So I'm leaving for Revelstoke from montreal with my car, I'm leaving around november 10 from Montreal.

If you want a ride from Montreal to revy, calgary or whatever let me know, If you need a ride from somewhere near the transcanadian let me know, I can stop and get you.

Cheers!

I was supposed to be in school be I'm taking a years off before the Uni, and at the same time i'll try to visit some uni in BC

Once you go, you'll never come back ...

From the MTL myself, have some friends there and visited them the last 2 years. Each time I was honestly considering never going home. Now that I'm back I need to finish school because if end up back in Revy don't think I'll have the willpower to return east.

Nobody ? I might stop in Banff to ski norquay or louise for a day so if you live near let me know.

And does the trans can have some good touring spot? Might want to tour one morning and I don't want to drive 45 min away from the trans.

Pretty sure you could be okay without a car in Rev. Fly to calgary, then take the bus.

There's a shuttle going to the hill every day at every hour. I took it twice and seems like every young adults like us are doing this. The town is pretty small, pretty sure you could save on money with that.

Yea I know, but I want to go to kicking horse, white water, red, whistler, baker. So I'll need a car.

Another note, when I was in Revelstoke I had no problems hitchhiking to the to the mountain every day. People were really friendly and got picked up real quick.

Yeah exactly what I was about to say. You could meet some people there and try to poolcar to the places you want.

Yea I know, but I want to have my car, I have like 3 pairs of ski and too much thing to bring and Don't really want to carry them in the airport. Plus the fee can be a bitch.

I'll go with my car this year and see how it goes, might return there next year, so If I think my car isn't needed i'll fly out.

Thanks for the head ups, I'm not 100% sure to go with my car, one of my friend is going with is car to but that's not sure. +k

Banane ill have my truck there regardless so if you don't end up bringing your car I can drive. Won't be in revy until December first-ish.

Sup Reis, Yea I know but well, I think it would be nice to travel the canada with my car, stopping in banff and ski. I'm not set on taking my car but it's almost certain!

Yeah, btw I'm fucking stoked for the season, Reis, If I'm going to Banff to ski a day would you come ? How long you have to drive to banff?

Banff is like a 9 or 10 hour drive for me. Probably would sit that one out due to all my money being reserved and in not so abundant supply for revy. We will hit Vernon a couple days this year a buddy lives there. Also have a friend in panorama but I don't know how long that drive is.

Another pointer if you do take your car and you're up for it. Revy is a small town and there aren't that many taxis. On New Years Eve you can make a good amount of coin driving people to and from parties, bars, whatever. Just spread the word and charge people a nominal fee for lifts back and forth. My friends did this a couple years and made a killing. You won't be rich but it does help out considerably for rent, beer, buds, whatever. Not sure if you were planning on working while there, but either way this is an easy way to make some coin on the side.

thans man, might do that if i'm not fucking drunk. If it's snoe I'll do it ahha and I'll ski the next day
