Montreal ski destinations

Hi everyone,

I have no knowledge of Montreal other than that I have been there once in my life. I may be coming next year for school so I'm curious as to the low down on ski areas near by. How close is the closest one? Are there many good destinations within a reasonable day trip distance?

mont saint-sauveur/avila is legit, fuckin sick park, not too far. bromont is legit too, but i think from montreal avila is a bit closer. those are probably the best ones in the area i'd say
 
Avila for park and pretty sure is the closest from downtown.

Bromont has a good park never been, but looks legit. It's pretty close too.

Sutton is farther, but just go for tree skiing other then that it's not worth it

Tremblant best mix for park and all mountain skiing. Farthest and most expensive.
 
i dunno how st bruno's park is but that one is pretty close too. however its pretty small so if you're looking to ski a bit of groomers too, dont go there

Bromont - 1hTremblant - 2h Sutton - 1h30Orford - 1h30
Now what I suggest : Bromont or Avila
 
brunos park is pretty sick. i wish they had a little more variety in rails but the jumps they have are fun and well built
 
st bruno is about 20-30 minutes and its really cheap and the park is ok but horrible if your skiing grooms but if you want a really good park and good grooms go to bromont bro!

well, I ski at bromont and st-bruno. Bromont is pretty sick, nice park,plenty of jibs, nice jump and a big one ( 52 ft i think ?) . Plus Bromont have nice trails, if you like to ski some groomers and when then a powder is nice, but not the best imo. St-Bruno is nice, i have a free passes each years, but i wont pay for it... So bromont would be the best choice, whit avila but i dont ski at any mssi resort this year, so i cant help
