Ok, so I just got some updated news from the NWP boys... the party has changed venues!

The sunset bar closed its doors yesterday, november 2nd, so the PLAYBACK premiere needed to be relocalised.

The new location is Mars-Venus Bar, 885 Maisonneuve street, 5 minutes from the Sunset at 9 o'clock.

We're really sorry for this late minute change and we hope you will still come non the less.

The ticket prices will be lowered.

Le bar le sunset a fermé ses portes hier le 2 novembre. La premiere de PLAYBACK a du etre relocalisé au bar Mars-Venus, 885 rue Maisonneuve, 5 minutes à pied du Sunset, à 9 heures.

Nous sommes désolé pour ce changement de derniere minute et nous esperons que vous viendrez en grand nombre même à cela.

Nous avons baissé le prix des billets.

Soooo.... we're still going to party tonight... i know there's a bunch of NS members going out too. Would anyone be interested in coming by the NS house for a few pre-drinks at like 4 or 5?

Oh yeah, and we just got TBC, Shanghai 6 and Tangerine Dream in the mail... so we can watch those as well.

damn doug I would have come if It wasn't about my god damn work...but see you there around 9:30 I finish at 9:00 at peel metro.
 
i might be able to stop by for a bit. my plan is to see hit list at gertz and still make it in time for playback. and i totally google maped the address and felt like a complete creep
 
Why would you feel like a creep?

We were thinking of checking out the MSP thing too... or maybe not, who knows?

Do you know if that's a big showing, like pros being flown in and shit, or is it more low key? If it's big, we want to try to rally that party to come to the other one.
 
we have to wait until the habs game finishes at the Mars-Venus before we can start the movie, so it won't start before 10 o'clock so people can come to Playback after hitlist
 
Why go to MSP?, personnaly I'M all over Playback, I know that at the msp premiere there won't be good party,and after 30 min of watching slow-mo I'll be bored. Playback will be way much sicker
 
We will all be at the hit list, or outside, getting people to Playback...There is no reason going to hit list, come drink at Mars Venus..
 
ha, i just feel wierd spying on someones house...google maps creeps me out.

anyway i'm pretty sure that the msp thing is very low key. no pros or schwag or autographs or anything like that will be there. it's mostly just a party put on by the mcgill ski team. it's going to be pretty mellow.

also i'm stoked that msp is at 7 and playback at nine...now i can see both and i don't have to choose. yeahyeahmsp sucks slow mo josh bermanblahblahblah but i still want to see it.

You would probably be able to rally some people from msp to go to playback. most of them however are mcgill ski team racers that don't know too much about what an urban rail is and things like that.

Plus, you can come over from 4-5, see MSP at 7, then playback at 9:30... what a perfect night!~
 
oops, just remembered i wont be able to make it to any of these tonight...damn birhtdays of friends you don't really like...maybe i'll be able to ditch for playback though
