Mont Du Lac vs Spirit Mnt...

So I am going to be moving up to Duluth this summer for a year and I'm not sure which place to get a pass for this winter. I was set on Spirit until I saw that they are going to be greatly reducing their hours next year (Mon-Thurs don't open tell 1, Sun close at 5).. So I'm asking you guys, which place would you recommend? Both have the same price for passes.

Thanks

You want jumps, or rails more? Du lac has a rope tow, so if you want hot laps and mostly rails go there

Alright.

For a little more info, I ride 70/30 rails to jumps (mostly because Wild Mnt has shitty jumps) and ride about 70/30 park/all mnt (again because I ride about wild). I'll most likely be working at BestBuy so it would be likely that I will have some weekdays off (a big reason why I'm not sure about going to spirit but I also like to ride all mnt on occation and spirit seems like it would be much better for it (never been to Du lac)). I also would want to meet some other NS'ers to ride with during the season.

I've honestly never been to due lacking. But I have a forwarded for spirit because they always take forever to get theirbpark up. And its never good till at least February (at least in my experience the last 4 years). My friend goes to umd and g e says if youbprefer rails... 100% go t ok du lac instead.

Sorry if grammar/spelling uhh s bad I. A lol drunk

If you like skiing and drinking and having fun go to du lac. If you like being held back by rules go to spirit.

Care to elaborate? I've gone to spirit a hand full of times and never had any issues with the staff (could be because I work as a lifty at Wild). Never been to du lac though.

Spirit jumps are so pretty.

I know :/ and I wouldn't even be asking this is spirit didn't plan on cutting hours without lowering season pass prices...

mont du weeknight pass (cheaper than full time) and full time spirit. if you can drop the cash for both of them anyways. or just live that bum ass poach life.

You wanna go to spirit. So much better than du lac. If you really want to go there I heard passes are pretty cheap but spirit changes there set up quite a bit throughout the season so it doesnt get boring.

Hit me up though im probably gonna buy a camera and start taking pictures/filming since Im getting surgery and have to take it easy the next few seasons.

I'll be in touch then! Still haven't bought a pass but I'm leaning towards Spirit.

Id do spirit.

Ill be driving to spirit from superior so if anyone needs a ride I may be able to pick someone up on the way.

Spirit Mountain ~ college season pass is on-sale now and it is now official that the "revised" winter operating schedule includes opening at 10am on weekdays and extending Sunday hours until 8pm. Yes!!
