Monster storm hits CO

i'm here in CO and we are getting pounded, but 30 inches overnight is pretty exaggerated

This snow is sooo shitty - wet, and is causing lots of ice. However, it will be great for keeping abasin open until July 4!

we have the most snow in at least 30 years at our basin, over 11 feet but today is the last day anyway because of some goddamn agreement with the national forest service.

fuck the santa fe hippies and their bitching

it took the ski basin 5 years of lawsuits just to be able to put in another lift that extends about 150 feet into new territory.

a-basin is closing in june this year. summit county really didn't get that much at all and if they did it will be like skiing in cement.

yeah it's really wet out but it's been snowing so hard all day. and it was like 50 and partly sunny yesterday. colorado....

 
i was at a-basin all weekend...just got back to boulder. uhhh...yea...no 30 inches. not even a foot fell. a-basin got well under 10 inches. it looks like boulder got maybe 4 inches. not very impressive.

yea right now i'm sitting at home in silverthorne. I work at arapahoe and i can tell you that they have gotten about 7 inches of snow the last couple of days. The storm is big but it didnt really hit summit that hard. In town theres about 4 inches and i'd say that's what abasin got today too.

 
it doesnt matter, my mtn closed today and wont open again no matter how much snow we get

the storm didnt hit anything hard except for the extreme front range......only denver and the springs and everything in front of the mtns are supposed to get hammered, but the mtns are only supposed to get 6-8"
