Mono Fu*king sucks

I have mono, and I waited way too long to get it checked out because I thought I just had a really bad throat ache. I'm on these steroids to make me feel better, the actual medacine, and some shit I have to gargle so I can actually swallow again.

Ya I know this thread has been made a million times and I don't care. Mono sucks. Does anyone know how long I will feel like shit for?
 
I think it's different for different people. I think I had mono a couple months ago, but never went and got tested because the doctor told me they wouldn't give me anything for it either way and to just let it run its course. I only felt really bad for about a week or 2.. and then I felt better for a couple days, and then I got strep throat haha.

well at least you only miss spring skiing if you miss anything at all, i say drink a 4pack of redbull, get an hour of skiing in then pass out since mono makes you riddiculously tired
 
as always, when i see a post about mono, i say go and give plasma. supposedly they pay double what they usually do
 
haah last year i had mono and pnemonia for 3 months, starting about a month ago and going to the end of april......it kinda sucked a shit load.  right through exams too, but i got extensions on all of them. 
 
you'll probably feel like shit for about a month.

suck it up i gotta toe thats been grwoing into my skin, bleeding, pussing. for four months got it cut down both sides so i had no toe nail for four months went back they cut it off again put acit on it, so not only burn the shitt where my old nail was but the nuse fucked up and burn NOW half of my nextt toes skin off and put meds on that made it infected with puss then perscribed me this shit thats soposed to go in ur ears but on ur toe and im BREAKING OUT IN FUCKING HIVES TODAY

I SAY COULD BE WORSE THEN 9 MONTHS OF HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLlllllll
 
oh....... AND TO ADD TO THAT

ITS INGROWN BOTH SIDES ON THE OTHER FOOTS BIG TOE SO I NEED THE SAME SHIT ON THAT AND THATS INFECTED RIGHT NOW AND PUSSING AND GOING RIGHT INTO THE SKIN
 
i thought i had mono once, turns out i was just really bored

but i did have it last year it sucks and you do keep felling the effects of it, it fucking sucks but you get over it
 
my friends know a girl who has mono.. and has had it for the last 2 1/2 years, she can only attend 2 classes a day and then she has to sleep.
 
I had mono pretty bad back in October and I still feel the effects 5 months later. I get tired after any activity, especially anything that evolves liver functions.
 
thats awesome same thing happened to me. I had to get my nails removed but the infection was so bad that the freezing didn't work so they did the surgery without it. It hurt. @ years and i still don't have big toe nails.

Mono sucks i had it 3 years ago. i slept alot and was really cranky. my spleen swelled up so bad you could actually see it bulging out of my skin. But i am all good now
 
Yeah I didnt realy stop drinking and didn't rest like i was supposed to, thats why the effects still havnt subsided all the way.
 
ive been with my g/f for like 10 weeks, shes fine, I have never cheated on her. So the worst part is I don't think I got it from action.
