MONARCH skiing. repost i know, but help?!?!

im going to colorado springs this weekend and am planning on skiing. we have been doing some research and it looks like the best place to go with the money i have is monarch for a few days. i read some other threads on this and found that people like it but its not all that steep, but i guess im looking for more reassurance. it looks like thier getting some freshies this week, which im stoked on!
also i dont really have a park here so im really hoping that they have a desent one there, anyone know about it? ++++k for help
 
I don't know how much i can help seeing as iv never skied monarch, but im in crested butte and am of the opinion that if your gonna be at monarch might as well go to cb if ya can. The best terrain i have ever skied, such a fun mountain, and if your looking for park i would assume theirs to be a little better than monarch but im not to sure. We haven't gotten as much snow as we wanted for spring break but i got out here saturday, dope backcountry day on sunday, fun resort days yesterday and today, snows not amazing but still alota fun and more should be on the way. Yeah not sure if i was reassuring sorry i just love cb.
 
thanks alot man, i would but apparently i can get 25 dolla tickets to monarch so i think that sounds too good to pass up. but they got 10 inches so it wont be too bad. any know anyhting about thier park tho incase its skied out by the im i get there?
