Moment vs. Ninthward

Ok so i have found four different deals on skis, either ninthward le comte 176, ninthward max peters 170, moment rocker 171, or moment reno jib 176. I am 5'10, 135 pounds, i prefer a mid flex, something fun to ride, that i can controll well , while i ride anywhere on the mountain, i ride 60%, 30% pow, and 10% groomers, the ninthwards come with head mojo 11s mounted for under $380 shipped, and the moments both come with tyrolia peak 12s mounted for less than $440 shipped. What do you think i should buy because i havent felt any of these in person as they don't have any skis like this at my local shop.

for your height the reno jibs may be a bit short, the le coms are also slightly short, the moments will hold up a lot better than the 9s

yeah i know, but moments i am not able to get now cause i just figured out that they arent available, but ninthwards are so im just gunna proboably get them

which isnt available for most companies...my moments snapped from regular riding, there not godly durable.

the new ninthwards look pretttty fresh

Ya because we all know that Toyotas have zero factories in the US and Ford has zero factories over seas....

Back to the thread though...

One company makes their skis in the US

One company makes their skis overseas.

One of those companies also fucked NS out of advertising money. Anyone want to say which one it was?

ninthward sucks because they fucked ns over. i don't care about the skis, i just have no interest in supporting that company

i went to school with the heir to the entire ford motor company and he is the only person i know who i legitimately wish was dead, yeah he's that big a douche so i hate ford because of it. every time i think of him i want to burn a ford vehicle

and toyota, well, it's toyota, my aunt's on her 4th prius because the past 3 have failed, but that's also a prius. i like the tundra except for the funky glitch where the car doesn't register the passenger door being closed sometimes so the light stays on and drains the battery

and i love moment. love the skis, owned a bunch of them and never had any issues despite heavy beatings, and the dudes there are awesome, and always gotta go for stuff made in the us

^Ya I know all about the 9 vs Moment stuff.. hence the sarcasm in my post above. Debating car companies is futile. Its like the Mac vs PC debate that never ends. Beating a dead horse that has been killed several times. I thought about getting into the debate but I've already jacked this thread enough.

personally i like VW's, the only reason i hate ford is because of that kid, otherwise i do not give a shit unless the car is super ugly

Easy answer. Scoop up those 9s. Best skis i've ever owned/ridden. Since moving to the Elan shop the skis have become super durable, not to mention the lightest ski i've ever seen.

Moments are trash.

BTW

Newschoolers and 9 have a solid business relationship, Ninthward will be all over Newschoolers soon with updates and advertisements. Shit is dropping on the 9th!

and that guy looks like a fucking douche, sooo much i cant imagine how much you hate him in person, like ive never heard him talk and he looks like a douche

k i was wondering about sizing though, cause the reno jibs i found are 171, and i think this is a little small for being 5'10, am i wrong?

well i just re read your initial post again. the jibs are 176s which is closer to what you want. but centermounted it might still feel a little short.

hard to say though. cause if you cant flex the jibs very good (I heard they're stiff) you won't have as much fun on sidehits/natural jibs/butters and shit. maybe le comptes are softer or what? I think jibs are sick though

no that was the old deal, the store i was looking at online wasnt really selling them anymore, the others i found were 171, le comtes are 176 though
