are super legit! So i broke my AR6s and needed some new skis. I wanted to get next year's Reno Rockers, but I'm leaving for a trip to Mount Hood on the 28th of July. So i was in a dilemma, i didn't know how i was going to ski without buying last years models. Well i emailed moment and they responded, then i called them. Here is what they are doing for me.

Since they can't get me next year's models before my trip they are going to let me borrow a pair of Demo Reno Rockers to use for those four days, basically letting me rent the skis for free. Not just skis though, but the very same pair of 09-10 181 Rockers I'm going to buy. On top of that, they are shipping the skis to me for free. After i ride them for the trip, i send them back and am then going to get my new Reno Rockers also free of shipping. On top of that they are sending me a free t-shirt. And on top of that they are waxing the bases free of charge for warm weather at Hood. This is so legitimate I can't believe it, and all for just pre-ordering next years skis, which i was going to buy anyways. I'm really impressed by Moment Skis!

i was really stoked on buying a pair of moments, so i messaged the group on facebook. He told me to send an email to a specific email at @momentskis.com - which i ended up doing immediately.
No response and its been over a week already ;[ kinda bummed ..
i guess you're luckier than i am!
congrats on the rockers though! and have fun on your trip!

Ya I'm just super stoked on their company after this, i can't think of another company that would go so much out of their way to do something they don't need to do.

And do AbelG uh try emailing them again. When i talked on the phone he mentioned getting a ton of emails. If they don't respond maybe try calling them, worked for me. They took a while their second time emailing me back so i just called them.

dude they are legit

i just emailed them asking about last years donner's and got a response in less than 5 minutes, which included the contacts personal cell #
 
its a real shame that i have never seen a single pair in a local shop on the east coast... and that they cost around 600 bucks. handmade though... would be worth it if i had the money.

damn you crappy job. not giving me enough hours to pay for skis.
 
Yeah they are really hard to find on the east.I'm thinking about getting a pair of Moments for next season and the fact that they're doing that is really helping that decision. Props for supporting independent ski companies.
 
Good luck. I would try calling early to make sure they can find a ski if you're gonna do it. I got really lucky and a demo ski came in the day i called.

In other news, does anybody want a picture of the camber on the skis? They came in.
 
Okay sounds good. They are getting mounted, but I will probably get them back atleast by Monday, because i said they had to be done that day, because I'm leaving Tuesday to ski Hood. Just check up on this thread in a few days and they will be here.
 
alright as promised. I got the skis back today from mounting. Here are pictures of the camber and the skis. If you have any questions about how they ski i will probably write a review after i ski them this week at hood.

they look so damn good! and so "next year" lol

they have a flat camber, for what i see: was it so even on last year's model?

looking forward for your review, have fun at Hood!
 
are you sure you're not a moment rep? sick though. they're a bunch of great guys. how light were those rockers? and what did you mount with?
 
Hate to hijack a thread, but also hate to have 10 threads about the same thing on the first page. Anyway do Moments go on sale towards the end of season at all? Id like to get a pair of Bibbys but I just can't justify them at this point. Thanks.
 
Ha no I'm not. I'm just really stoked on the skis. I mounted them with PX12 jibs, and they are the same weight as my AR6 176. About 8 pounds w/o bindings.
 
Hahahaha Seth you really made a video showing there ability to butter?

Are you sure you aren't secretly sponsorsized?
